The horizontal gravity die casting press is used for aluminium parts whose parting line is horizontal. Die halves move along the horizontal axis on hydraulic cylinders, with core and ejector movements tied into the same control system.
It can be built stationary or tilting. Die size, clamping force and stroke are engineered around the casting.
