The degassing machine injects inert gas and flux into molten aluminium to remove dissolved hydrogen and oxide inclusions, reducing porosity and casting defects and improving mechanical properties.
A vertically travelling graphite rotor with baffle support distributes gas evenly without creating a vortex. The PLC-controlled machine can be used as a mobile unit on wheels or on a rail-mounted slide at the line.
