The ladle heater preheats casting and transfer ladles in a controlled way before they receive molten metal, preventing thermal shock cracks in refractory and graphite crucibles and reducing metal temperature loss.
The burner-fired unit adapts to different ladle sizes with a movable hood and can be installed as a mobile or stationary unit.
